Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field.
• Member of the Academy of Actuaries.
• Fellow in the Society of Actuaries.
• At least eight years of experience as a health actuary.
• Management and supervisory responsibilities preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAS/SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement pricing models and rate recommendations.
• Monitor trends, reserving, and NAIC actuarial exhibits; aid in financial forecasting.
• Identify cost drivers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement cost-control strategies.
• Provide professional certification and leadership within actuary group.
