Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science or related field; proficiency with Word/Excel; strong communication; preferred SOA exam and knowledge of SAS/SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or another related field.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to provide clear messaging to explain complex information as well as ask clarifying questions to ensure you deeply understand the communication.
• Written communication skills to ensure that communications and reports are accurate, objective, clear, constructive and complete.

Responsabilités

• Analyze healthcare costs, risk, pricing, forecasting and other projects to help improve quality and total cost of care by:
• Gathering, cleaning and analyzing data from viable data sources to identify trends
• Updating actuarial models for forecasting and monitoring the models for effectiveness
• Preparing financial, enrollment and ad hoc reports to support corporate decision making and communicate results
