Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field required.
• Minimum 10+ years' experience in actuarial field with health and benefits consulting experience.
• Progress toward ASA designation.
• Client facing experience essential.
• Strong analytical skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine client engagements, managing service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, benchmarking and related underwriting health and welfare insurance projects.
• Review data analyses by junior staff for actuarial accuracy and to support professional development.
• Perform and review complex analyses and cost projections using Excel, SAS and related tools.
• Engage with AI and technology-enabled tools to drive insights.
• Draft and review client reports and presentations to summarize findings and propose solutions.
• Manage day-to-day client interactions and guide junior team members in client management.
• Assist senior members in business development and responses to proposals.
• Contribute to intellectual capital and expand health insurance actuarial services knowledge.
