Job summary

Marsh is seeking an experienced Principal Lead Health Actuary Consultant to join its Actuarial and Financial Consulting team in the United States. This hybrid role requires in-office presence at least three days per week and leads health benefits projections, plan design optimization, and renewal negotiations for employer groups.

You will mentor analysts, review complex analyses using Excel and SAS, and contribute to business development while expanding health insurance actuarial services

Qualifications

• You hold a BA/BS in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics or related field.
• You are progressing toward ASA designation with strong actuarial grounding.
• You have 10+ years of actuarial experience, including health and benefits consulting.
• You have proven client-facing experience and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead routine and complex client engagements across health benefits strategies and renewals.
• Coordinate projections, plan design optimization, and financial evaluations for employer groups.
• Review analyses by junior staff for actuarial accuracy and model integrity.
• Develop client reports and presentations; summarize findings and recommended solutions.
• Assist business development by identifying growth opportunities and proposals.
