Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, or related field.
• Significant progress with actuarial exams; ASA or FSA preferred.
• 5+ years actuarial experience in health insurance or healthcare provider market.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client relationship skills.
• Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint; programming experience a plus (R/SAS/SQL/VBA).

Responsibilities

• Valuation and reserve development for health products.
• Captive feasibility, funding, reserving, and risk management.
• Merger and acquisition support and economic capital modeling.
• Regulatory support and financial examinations.
• Client advisory work across health practice lines of business.
