Decisive Point is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead the maintenance and development of their HD maps infrastructure. This role involves collaboration with engineers and customers to optimize map functionality across applications.

The ideal candidate has experience in building software solutions for mapping in real-world scenarios, with strong knowledge of C++ and/or Python, along with a minimum of 2 years in software engineering.

Compensation includes base salary, equity, and comprehensive benefits, with the salary range for this position being $125,000 - $222,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with real-world mapping challenges.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and customers.
• Strong foundation in software engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the HD maps infrastructure for products.
• Define storage format to enhance map features and data distribution.
• Collaborate on existing and future map designs and features.

Skills

Experience building software components or (sub)systems addressing mapping and localization

Experience in autonomous vehicles or simulation products

Knowledge of C++ and/or Python

2+ years of software engineering experience
