Job summary

Hayden AI is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to drive the hardware portfolio from concept to Mass Production. You will lead cross-functional teams across hardware lifecycle, align with edge AI and perception groups, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

The role requires deep NPI knowledge, phase-gate governance, and a track record of 0-to-1 to production for multi-disciplinary hardware products.

Qualifications

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in an engineering discipline.
12+ years in Hardware TPM or Engineering Program Management.
Led 5+ multi-disciplinary hardware products from 0-to-1 through production.
Deep knowledge of NPI lifecycle (EVT, DVT, PVT, MP), phase gate governance, and CM/supplier management.
Experience with hardware reliability, regulatory compliance (FCC, CE), and supply chain risk.
Strong technical foundation in embedded systems, hardware/software integration, or computer vision systems.

Responsibilities

Strategic execution to drive end-to-end delivery of enterprise hardware programs.
Lead edge AI & on-vehicle systems alignment with Perception and Platform teams.
Drive advanced R&D & technology incubation, including PoCs for next-gen components.
Define phase gate reviews and milestone governance across hardware lifecycle.
Oversee NPI lifecycle (EVT, DVT, PVT, MP) and vendor delivery to MP.
Translate field feedback and regulatory constraints into hardware requirements.
