Job summary

Hayden AI is seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to own cross-functional visibility and delivery across the company’s engineering and business portfolio. You will translate competing commitments into a coherent, executable plan and surface risks across hardware, embedded software, edge AI, cloud, and government deployments.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in Technical Program Management or Engineering PM roles.
• Experience managing a portfolio of cross-functional programs in fast-moving environments.
• Translate contracts and commitments into engineering capacity and sequencing decisions.
• Technical fluency across hardware, embedded, cloud, and AI domains.
• Strong executive communication, able to distill complex status into clear decisions.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Governance: Own the company-wide program portfolio and single source of truth for commitments, capacity, dependencies, and status across all active lines of work.
• Business-Engineering Translation: Interface between executive leadership and engineering to translate commitments into capacity plans and surface tradeoffs.
• Executive Reporting: Design dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide leadership with clear visibility into portfolio health.
• Capacity Planning & Demand Management: Maintain real-time view of capacity vs. committed demand and drive prioritization decisions.
• Cross-Functional Program Delivery: Drive end-to-end delivery of strategic programs spanning multiple pillars and functions.
