Job summary

Formlabs in Somerville, MA seeks a Senior Technical Program Manager for in-person work. You will lead cross-functional teams to ship technically complex hardware products from concept through production and manage budgets, staffing, and cost models.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years program management experience.
• Deep understanding of a technical product design life cycle and problem solving processes.
• Ability to apply technical knowledge to drive decision making.
• Business-minded with focus on dollars in program decisions.
• Strong schedule and project-efficiency improvement mindset.
• Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, production and supply chain.
• Experience creating and implementing program management tools for communication, scheduling, risk management, etc.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ship the best product as fast as possible.
• Manage strategy, planning, execution and delivery of technically complex products from concept to production.
• Own the program budget and staffing plans.
• Create and maintain product cost models and hit cost targets.
• Act as the key link between program team and stakeholders with leadership reporting.
• Define scope and develop program plans to meet cost and schedule.
• Monitor progress, evaluate quality, and manage risk; report status to leadership.
