Carbon, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to drive complex software engineering programs in additive manufacturing.

You will collaborate with our software team to ensure delivery of high-impact technical initiatives that advance our mission. This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA, and involves coordinating with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to define plans, manage risks, and guide execution through cadence-driven processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading software delivery programs in a technical environment.
• Strong ability to manage complex, cross-functional software initiatives end-to-end.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across engineers, product, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex software development programs.
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans.
• Track progress, milestones, budgets, and dependencies.
• Manage key vendor relationships.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks in product development.
• Facilitate effective communication and escalation between teams.
• Provide status updates and reports to stakeholders on key initiatives.
• Drive technical decision-making and consensus across teams.
• Define and participate in team rhythms and processes (stand-ups, planning, backlog grooming, on-call, deployments).
• Partner with Product Management and Engineering Managers to lead team structures and cadences.
