Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Senior Hardware Test Development Engineer to drive end-to-end test architecture and production deployment across multiple customers and regions. You will design test systems for motherboard, memory, CPU, storage and PCIe devices, and develop automated test software to control equipment and generate reports.

BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, 5–8 years in software manufacturing test; strong Linux and scripting skills; ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field required.
• 5–8 years in software manufacturing test development/sustaining for enterprise servers, storage or networking products.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with server hardware interaction, validation and configuration.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop test systems and procedures for manufacturing processes.
• Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts to automate testing.
• Support and maintain manufacturing server and rack level test software and infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation of test procedures and specifications.
• Collaborate with hardware, manufacturing, and QA teams to align testing requirements.
• Stay current with testing tech and industry best practices.
• Define and collaborate on overall test infrastructure and architectures.
• Travel up to 10% globally as required.
