Job summary

Jabil in Austin is seeking a Test Engineer to execute product validation across hardware, firmware, and system behavior. You will document results, manage defects, and support lab readiness while collaborating with Development, Systems, and Product Validation teams.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of validation or testing experience, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 2–5 years of validation, testing, system integration, or engineering execution experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute validation tests across functional, performance, environmental, and integration scopes.
• Record results accurately, capture configurations, and flag anomalies and risks promptly.
• Create clear defect reports with logs and reproduction steps; verify fixes.
• Maintain test environments, lab setups, firmware images, and tooling readiness.
• Contribute to test case development and automation to improve coverage.
• Collaborate with Development and Product Validation to drive issue closure.
• Participate in readiness reviews, status reporting, and planning with the Test Lead.
