Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hardware testing experience, preferably in server/storage/PC manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of server architecture (CPUs, RAM, HDDs/SSDs, RAID) and Linux/Windows Server OS.
• Proficiency with POST diagnostics, memory testers, and drive utilities.
• Ability to read schematics, test plans, and technical documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting and detail-oriented mindset.
• Good written and verbal communication; able to work independently or in a team.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex functional and diagnostic tests on server boards, systems, and related components using testing equipment and software
• Configure and troubleshoot test environments, including network connections, operating systems, and specialized applications
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and document findings in internal tracking systems
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve test processes
• Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and recommend corrective actions
• Assist in developing and validating new test procedures and scripts
• Train and mentor less experienced test operators on testing protocols and best practices
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety regulations
• Operate and maintain specialized test equipment, including routine calibration and troubleshooting
