Job summary

Google Sunnyvale, CA is seeking a Senior Hardware Performance Test Engineer to lead a cross-discipline team validating end-to-end ML system designs, including CPU, memory, storage, ML ASICs, and high-speed interconnects.

You will coordinate with HW and lab teams, manage resources and budget, and drive test automation, data collection, and quality across lab environments in a fast-paced R&D setting at Google.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 4 years in a hardware development lab environment, or 3 years with advanced degree.
• 3 years of experience with Linux and Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end system integration testing with defined configurations.
• Develop test automation to enable performance, reliability, and failure reproduction.
• Design power, cooling, and network infra for end-to-end testing.
• Develop test software/infrastructure for scalable DUT testing and data visualization.
• Coordinate with HW and lab teams to ensure resources and schedules align.
