Job summary

Zoox is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to develop and maintain automated tests for sensors and ECUs on production lines in Foster City, California.

You will build, release, and support test solutions, develop scripts to verify functionality, and drive cross-functional collaboration to improve coverage, yield, and reliability.

The role offers a base salary range of $187,000–$225,000 per year with RSUs, a sign-on bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science or physics (or equivalent).
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• Strong Python and bash scripting.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting complex electronic assemblies in manufacturing.
• Experience developing automated manufacturing tests on Linux.

Responsibilities

• Build, release & support test solutions for use on manufacturing lines.
• Develop testing scripts to verify functionality and analyze results for improvement.
• Implement test coverage across PCBA, module, system, and vehicle levels.
