Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Principal Hardware Security Engineer to define and enforce security requirements for OCI hardware. You will work with Oracle teams and vendors to ensure high security standards across compute devices and platforms.

You will perform hands-on security assessments, threat modeling, and risk mitigation, while mentoring junior engineers and influencing hardware security practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8-10+ years in hardware security architecture/engineering/validation/planning or related area.
• Competency with hardware/firmware focusing on security.
• Knowledge of computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Define security requirements for hardware enabling OCI security posture.
• Provide independent design consulting to implement hardware security requirements and features.
• Perform hands-on security assessments of compute devices and adversarial assessments.
• Assess risk from findings and threat models and identify mitigation controls.
• Collaborate across teams to implement requirements, findings, and recommendations.
• Mentor junior engineers.
