Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure seeks a Consulting Hardware Security Engineer to define and enforce security for OCI compute hardware, working across Oracle, vendors, and standards bodies. You will help ensure hardware supports security controls and align operations with the security posture in a large, multi-tenant cloud.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EE/CS.
• 10+ years hardware security experience.
• Security-focused hardware/firmware competency.
• Strong knowledge of computer architecture.
• Experience with attestation, cryptography, Secure Boot.

Responsibilities

• Definition of security requirements for hardware enabling OCI security posture aligning business needs and technology trends.
• Provide independent design consulting for complex compute systems, balancing business objective and security risks to implement: requirements specified by the hardware security team; features required to achieve security bar; operations inline with security posture.
• Hands on security assessments of complex compute systems to ensure they meet requirements; adversarial assessments to ensure they can’t be compromised.
• Breakdown complex systems for analysis and collaborate across the team to form a holistic assessment.
