Job summary

Rachio is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Hardware to own an entire hardware line from roadmap to market launch. You will work closely with engineering (firmware, electrical, mechanical, and industrial design), supply chain, design, and sales to ship products on time and at cost.

You will guide working backwards docs, define requirements, and manage stage-gate reviews to ensure successful outcomes. You will also collaborate with marketing on launches, monitor activation and CSAT metrics,

Qualifications

Lead PM on at least two consumer hardware products through a complete cycle.
Experience shipping through contract manufacturers; knowledge of DFM and certification processes (FCC, UL, CE).
Hands-on fluency across mechanical, electrical, industrial design, and firmware domains.

Responsibilities

Own the roadmap and product definition for your hardware line, across all lifecycle stages.
Write working backwards documents and translate them into detailed requirements and user stories forEngineering and Design.
Run stage gates concept through EVT, DVT, PVT, and ramp with clear owners and exit criteria.
Collaborate with Supply Chain on cost targets, tooling, certification timelines, and inventory planning.
Coordinate with Marketing for launches and ensure go-to-market readiness and post-launch feedback loop.
