Waabi seeks a Product Manager to lead hardware platform requirements for Waabi Driver across autonomous trucks and robotaxi. This role sits between requirements and implementation, coordinating with hardware engineers, OEMs, and suppliers to deliver a complete end-to-end product.

You will define vehicle interaction with riders, law enforcement, and the public, ensuring safety, security, and resilience. The position requires regular on-site work in a fast-paced hardware environment.

Formación

• 8+ years in product management, hardware product, or systems engineering roles on physical products.
• Experience taking hardware from concept to production.
• Industrial design experience with strong instincts for HMI and human factors.
• Strong requirements writing with clear acceptance criteria and verification methods.
• Experience building relationships with OEMs and suppliers.
• Commitment to trust, transparency and honesty in safety-critical environments.
• Willingness to be on site regularly for mock-ups, vehicle evaluations, and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Own product requirements for Waabi's hardware platform across trucks and robotaxi, turning field and integration feedback into requirements for future revisions and new vehicle platforms.
• Define how vehicles interact with riders, law enforcement, first responders, and the public, covering exterior signaling, cabin monitoring, safety, and tamper-resistance.
• Lead product definition for new hardware programs before engineering kickoff with clear acceptance criteria and verification plans.
• Incorporate industrial design and human factors into touchpoints like displays, lighting, reach, and controls, validated in mock-ups and real vehicles.
• Build trusted relationships with OEM and supplier partners, aligning requirements across organizations.
• Represent hardware credibly in cross-functional decisions about feasibility, cost, and scope.
