Job summary

E Tech Group is seeking a Senior Hardware Design and Instrumentation Engineer to lead design, configuration, and testing of control system hardware and instrumentation. The role involves collaboration across teams and travel to client sites in the New England region.

You will apply your expertise in PLC/HMI, control loops, and electrical schematics, supporting startup, commissioning, and ongoing optimization for client projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience executing automation projects for process plants.
• BS Engineering degree or equivalent educational background.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E & UL 508A.

Responsibilities

• Lead or work on a project team responsible for the design, configuration, and testing of control system hardware and instrumentation.
• Coordinate work across multiple projects to meet deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot non-functional or out-of-spec instrumentation and control systems.
• Assist in startup, commissioning, and field installation at client facilities.
