Job summary

E Tech Group in the United States seeks a Senior Hardware Design and Instrumentation Engineer to lead hardware design, instrumentation, and field wiring for complex automation projects. You will help with instrument specification, panel design, and on-site start-ups, collaborating across teams to deliver robust solutions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of project experience, a BS in engineering, and PLC/HMI expertise, with a PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience executing automation projects for process plants.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and controls standards and NFPA/UL guidance.
• Experience with PLC/HMI programming, commissioning, and startup services.
• Schematic modification in AutoCAD and control panel design experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to design, configuration, and testing of control system hardware and instrumentation.
• Coordinate work across multiple projects to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot non-functional instrumentation and optimize control loops.
• Travel to client sites for design, development, and startup activities as needed.
• Serve as hardware and instrumentation SME within the automation team.
• Collaborate to uphold company values and professional development of associates.
