Job summary

Eridu, a Silicon Valley–based hardware startup, seeks a Hardware Manager to lead end‑to‑end system development, from concept to production. You will oversee high‑speed I/O, ASICs, FPGAs, and power delivery on complex PCBs, guiding the team through design reviews and qualification to a successful full‑production ramp.

Applicants must have a strong background in system‑level hardware, signal and power integrity, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in system‑level development.
• Outstanding knowledge of hardware design process and practices.
• Proven track record delivering high‑speed products from concept to production.
• Strong understanding of high‑speed design, signal and power integrity.

Responsibilities

• Turn high‑level requirements into detailed Hardware Specifications.
• Oversee schematic entry, layout and design reviews.
• Oversee signal integrity and power integrity analyses.
• Develop de-risk plans via supplier evaluations and prototypes.
• Lead test plans including BringUp, EDVT, MDVT and EMI/EMC.
• Drive systems from prototype to production within schedule and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and present milestones.
• Manage ODM/JDM development to meet deliverables on time.
• Lead and mentor a hardware development team.
