Job summary

Cerebras Systems in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Senior Staff Electrical Engineer to define and drive system architecture for high-performance compute, AI accelerators, and ASIC platforms. You will lead hardware development from concept to production, owning specs, bring-up, and integration with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in board design, strong knowledge of power delivery and signal integrity, and hands-on scripting (Python).

Qualifications

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a board design engineer.
Experience with system design, digital circuits, power delivery, voltage regulators, and high-speed signal integrity.
System-level understanding and familiarity with production environment.
Proficiency with lab/test scripting SW (e.g., Python).
Personal skills: self-instruction, multi-disciplined, multi-tasking and good interpersonal relationship.
Experience working on server hardware, AI accelerators, hardware accelerator, datacenter, AI Hardware, enterprise product, GPU, CPU, TPU, server platform etc.

Responsibilities

Lead system architecture and hardware design from concept to production release.
Own hardware development, system specification, schematic and layout design, bring up, debug, validation and system integration.
Drive future technology development with internal and industry partners.
Collaborate with manufacturing operations, test engineering, supply chain, ASIC, mechanical, signal integrity, power delivery, layout, embedded & diagnostic teams.
