Job summary

iPolish, Inc. in Central Florida seeks a Senior Electrical & Hardware Engineer to lead the design, prototyping, and bring-to-market of mixed-signal embedded systems for the Magic Wand and related hardware.

You will own schematic capture, PCB layout, and high-voltage EPD drive considerations, coordinating with overseas partners on fabrication, test, and certification across the US, Canada, UK, EU, and Asia-Pacific.

Qualifications

• B.S./M.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of hands-on hardware product development experience with consumer electronics/IoT.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout; familiarity with Fusion 360 Electronics/EAGLE/Altium/KiCad.
• Experience with ESP32 or similar Wi‑Fi/BLE SoCs; Bluetooth/NRF familiarity a plus.
• Experience with battery-powered products including LiPo charging/protection and power-path management.
• Solid EMC knowledge and experience supporting FCC/CE certification campaigns.
• Ability to coordinate multi-country certification schedules and market-access requirements.
• Comfort in fast-paced startup environments with hands-on prototyping and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own schematic capture and PCB layout for compact battery-powered consumer electronics (Magic Wand).
• Design and validate low-voltage analog/mixed-signal circuits, battery charging, and USB-C topologies.
• Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM) reviews; coordinate with overseas CM partners for fabrication and test infra.
• Develop and maintain full BOMs and cross-references (DigiKey/LCSC/Mouser).
• Coordinate international wireless and product-safety certification programs (FCC, CE/UKCA, SAR, etc.).
• Support battery safety compliance (UN 38.3, UL 2054, IEC 62133) and component selection.
• Collaborate on firmware-hardware integration with embedded software teams.
