Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join its advanced hardware team, leading PCBA development, schematic capture, and electrical systems architecture for new product development and R&D initiatives.

You will partner with customers, engineering leadership, and manufacturing to guide projects from concept through production, balancing technical excellence with clear communication and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, including PCBA design, schematic capture, and electrical systems architecture
• Proven experience leading technical project teams in R&D and New Product Development environments
• Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts and build stakeholder relationships
• Experience supporting products through the full development lifecycle, including design, validation, testing, and manufacturing support

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical hardware design efforts focusing on PCBA development, schematic capture, and electrical systems architecture for new product development and R&D initiatives
• Serve as a technical lead throughout the product lifecycle, partnering directly with customers, engineering leadership, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
• Drive projects from concept through production, conducting design reviews, overcoming technical challenges, and ensuring effective project execution
• Present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences and build trusted customer relationships
