Insight Global is seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join its advanced hardware team, leading PCBA development, schematic capture, and electrical systems architecture for new product development and R&D initiatives.
You will partner with customers, engineering leadership, and manufacturing to guide projects from concept through production, balancing technical excellence with clear communication and stakeholder relationships.
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience in electrical hardware design, including PCBA design, schematic capture, and electrical systems architecture Proven experience leading technical project teams in R&D and New Product Development environments Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to present complex technical concepts and build stakeholder relationships Experience supporting products through the full development lifecycle, including design, validation, testing, and manufacturing support
Experience supporting Aerospace & Defense or military-related products Power distribution design or power electronics experience RF design or RF systems knowledge Embedded software or firmware exposure Experience working in regulated industries such as Medical Device, Aerospace, Industrial Automation, or Advanced Manufacturing
This individual will join a highly specialized electrical engineering team supporting the development of complex customer products across industries including Aerospace & Defense, HealthTech, Industrial Automation, Power Infrastructure, and Capital Equipment. On a daily basis, they will lead electrical hardware design efforts focused on PCBA development, schematic capture, and electrical systems architecture for new product development and R&D initiatives. This role serves as a technical lead throughout the product lifecycle, partnering directly with customers, engineering leadership, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to drive projects from concept through production. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences, and experience building trusted customer relationships while leading engineering teams through design reviews, technical challenges, and project execution.
