Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer for Special Projects. You will be deployed across Core Tech to tackle the highest-priority gaps, from diagnosing hardware integration issues to building customer demos and writing test automation.

The role requires breadth across mechanical, electrical, software, and systems thinking, with the ability to move quickly on varied programs and communicate clearly with leadership and engineers. Security clearance eligible.

Competenze

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
• 8+ years of engineering experience across at least two domains (e.g., systems engineering, hardware, embedded electronics, test/integration, software).
• Ability to move between disparate technical domains with minimal ramp-up.
• Hands-on hardware experience: fixtures, assemblies, tests, or production floor.
• Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, C++, or similar for test automation or data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to brief executives and document procedures.
• Comfort with ambiguous scope and shifting priorities.
• Eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.

• Diagnose cross-functional issues by hands-on hardware, data, or code as needed.
• Plan and execute customer and internal demonstrations end-to-end.
• Develop test software, automation scripts, and data-analysis tools.
• Build dashboards and data pipelines to track yield and test metrics.
• Perform system-level analyses and trade studies for architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, supply chain, test, quality, and operations.
