Qualifications

• System-level knowledge covering hardware, software and their interactions.
• Experience with mobile phone hardware subsystems: AP, multimedia, GPU, modem, WiFi.
• Ability to optimize software for power and performance improvements.
• Knowledge of Linux kernel and Android system internals.
• Experience debugging and performing root cause analysis across code, firmware, software, hardware and systems.

Responsibilities

• Model power consumption with cross-functional teams and define power targets.
• Analyze and optimize software running on key SoC components (CPU, GPU, Memory, Connectivity).
• Debug and resolve battery drain issues.
• Collaborate with Android app teams to optimize power usage.
• Develop tools and tests to validate and monitor power consumption.
