Atom Computing, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Hardware Engineer in Boulder, CO to lead the design of the control system hardware for our quantum computer. You will drive high-speed mixed-signal front ends and analog/digital interfaces, collaborating with physicists and software teams.

The role requires 5+ years in board-level design, expertise with Altium Designer, and a track record of bringing designs from schematic to board bring-up in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of postgraduate experience in analog and digital board design.

Responsabilités

• Design high-level architectures for analog and RF front ends and signal conditioning.
• Own research, prototyping, evaluation, and design of high-speed mixed-signal front ends for control systems.
• Collaborate with quantum engineers to define hardware design requirements.
• Board-level circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout in Altium for control system hardware.
• Participate in bring-up, verification, and testing with FPGA, firmware, and software teams.
