Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years in hardware design and development in durable goods or related manufacturing.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and CAD tools; Verilog and FPGA experience required.
• Experience with circuit simulation programs and hardware testing methods.
• Strong analog/digital circuit design, signal processing, and embedded systems knowledge.
• Experience with FPGA development environments and related toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and test hardware components meeting specs and regs.
• Lead hardware development projects with timelines and resources.
• Analyze and resolve hardware issues via root-cause analysis and testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize cost-effective production.
• Document design processes, test results, and specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and share technical knowledge.
• Stay updated on emerging hardware technologies and trends.
