Job summary

Synectics Inc. seeks a Senior Hardware Development Engineer to join a collaborative team building advanced automation control systems. You will contribute to all stages of hardware product development—from sub-circuit design to regulatory compliance—while growing technical skills in a supportive environment.

Collaborate on an agile team to design industrial automation products, verify hardware architecture, and troubleshoot prototypes. Mentorship and ongoing learning opportunities are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in cross-functional product development.
• Ability to read schematics and apply circuit theory to hardware design.
• Experience with FP-GA/CPLDs, FPGAs and programmable devices.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and functional safety.
• Experience in a scaled Agile environment and EMC/IEC61000 familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on an agile team to design and develop new industrial automation products, including architecture and hardware verification.
• Program, analyze, and troubleshoot electronic hardware prototypes.
• Prepare product design documentation and test reports.
• Lead technical initiatives such as researching new technologies and circuit design tools.
• Troubleshoot failures and implement test automation and design simulation.
• Build cross-team relationships to deepen understanding of the development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
