Atom Computing, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Senior Hardware Engineer with expertise in high-speed mixed-signal design to research, design, develop, and test custom instrumentation for quantum computing control systems.

You will work with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware into our quantum computers, and be based in-office in Austin or Boulder at least three days a week. Responsibilities include architecture design for analog/RF front ends, PCB layout in Altium, and hardware bring-up in

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in board-level analog/digital circuit design.
• Experience completing a full hardware design cycle.

Responsabilités

• Design high level architectures for analog/RF front ends, signal conditioning, DAC/ADC selection, power and clocking.
• Lead research, prototyping, evaluation and design of high-speed mixed-signal front ends for control systems.
• Collaborate with software/quantum/laser/optical teams to define hardware requirements.
• Perform board-level circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout in Altium Designer.
• Participate in bring-up, verification, and testing with FPGA/firmware/software teams.
