Job summary

Axiado Corporation in Silicon Valley seeks a Senior Hardware Engineer to drive products from concept to production in embedded computing systems. You will create hardware specs, perform test planning, and collaborate with Layout, Mechanical, and SI teams to finalize designs.

The role requires hands-on board design, schematic capture, and experience with high-speed interfaces, plus lab bring-up and cross-functional collaboration to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years hardware engineering experience; 7+ years desirable.
• Experience with board design, schematic capture, PCB layouts and signal integrity.
• Familiarity with tools including Cadence Orcad and Allegro.
• Strong knowledge of interfaces (I2C, SMBUS, SPI, UART, USB).
• Knowledge of PCIe, DDR4/5, Display and Network interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Drive product from concept to production.
• Involve in system design on embedded computing system products.
• Create hardware specs and develop test plans.
• Capture Schematics using Orcad.
• Coordinate with Layout, Mechanical and SI engineers to complete designs.
• Bring up systems and validate in the lab.
• Interact with cross-functional teams for technical discussions.
• Tackle challenging problems and manage multiple tasks.
• Lead HW builds and procurement.
