Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a hardware engineer for our Hardware Engineering team in New York. You will own server hardware from provisioning through decommission, designing and optimizing our high‑performance infrastructure to power CoreWeave’s AI workloads.

The role emphasizes automation, firmware management, monitoring, and tight collaboration with vendors to deploy new platforms while continuously improving telemetry and platform design.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of server hardware, components, and management technologies.
• Experience supporting production infrastructure and on-call rotations.
• Strong scripting and automation capabilities.
• Excellent English communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop server hardware infrastructure for high‑performance workloads.
• Automate lifecycle from provisioning to decommissioning.
• Develop hardware/firmware management services ensuring reliability at scale.
• Implement monitoring/alerting for hardware health and on‑call readiness.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for hardware and firmware issues.
