The facility houses virtually all resources for product realization, including engineering, supply chain, parts fabrication, electro-mechanical assembly, and testing. Fabrication capabilities include laser and plasma cutting, CNC machining, CNC punching, and automated bending and forming. The company is driven by the caring people that we employ: the heart and soul of the Cleaveland/Price product line.Your GoalAs a member of the Electronic Design group, you will be responsible for providing hardware-based solutions for electronic products covering the complete product lifecycle. This will include working on new product offerings, identifying and correcting design issues in existing products, finding solutions for part obsolescence, or creating test systems for the manufacturing process.Your ResponsibilitiesWith minimal direction, you will:Develop, simulate, prototype, and test analog and digital circuitryDesign printed circuit board using best practices and works with contract manufacturer to ensure manufacturabilityWork with mechanical designers or engineers to development packaging solutions and create drawings to include relevant mechanical assembly detailsUtilize standard electronics laboratory equipment to test and troubleshoot new and existing designsWork with external laboratories to complete regulatory compliance testingSupport development collaboration, support design reviews, and follow internal engineering control processesInvestigate of technical problems and the creation of procedures, processes, and corrective actions to avoid recurrencesProvide guidance to less experienced engineers and facilitate training as neededComplete other tasks as assignedYour BackgroundBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET accredited programExperience with analog and digital circuit designExperience with circuit design and layout software, such as AltiumExperience with circuit simulation softwareKnowledge of PCBA manufacturing processKnowledge of three-phase power systems preferredCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for Cleaveland/Price in the USThis position is available at two different career levels depending on experience, education, etc.Senior: Typically requires 10+ years of experienceM.S. degree may be substituted for up to two years of experiencePhysical RequirementsSedentary work.
