Job summary

The Recruiting Hive seeks a Senior Hardware Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL to lead design and development of rugged embedded hardware systems. You will architect, implement, test, and debug advanced boards using Intel and ARM processors, FPGAs, and MPSoCs, focusing on DDR4/DDR5 memory, PCIe, and high-speed interfaces.

• Bachelor's degree required; 7+ years in electrical/embedded hardware design.
• Strong digital circuit design for complex embedded systems.
• Hands-on with Intel/ARM processors in hardware.
• Experience with FPGAs/MPSoCs/RFSoCs and high-speed interfaces (DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, multi-Gigabit Ethernet).
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB design; hardware bring-up and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, debug, and support advanced embedded hardware systems.
• Create digital hardware with Intel/ARM processors, DDR memory, FPGAs, MPSoCs, RFSoCs.
• Develop high-speed interfaces such as PCIe and multi-Gigabit Ethernet.
• Own complex hardware programs from architecture through production release.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, software, systems, product management, manufacturing, and program teams.
