Job summary

Accounting Search seeks a Senior Hardware Design Engineer in Huntsville, AL to lead complex embedded hardware initiatives. You will architect, design, test, and support advanced electronic systems with high independence.

You’ll work with Intel/ARM processors, DDR4/DDR5 memory, FPGAs, MPSoCs, RFSoCs, and high-speed interfaces like PCIe and multi-Gigabit Ethernet, taking ownership from concept to production release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years in electrical engineering, embedded hardware design, or related electronics development.
• Strong experience with digital circuit design for complex embedded systems.
• Hands-on experience designing hardware with Intel/ARM processors.
• Experience with FPGAs, MPSoCs, RFSoCs, or similar devices.
• Experience designing high-speed interfaces like DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, and multi-Gigabit Ethernet.
• Strong schematic capture and PCB design experience.
• Hands-on hardware bring-up, validation, troubleshooting, and debug.
• Experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, DMMs).
• Ability to work independently and own complex deliverables.
• Demonstrated technical leadership on engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• As Senior hardware contributor, act as design authority for complex embedded hardware programs.
• Design, develop, test, debug, and support advanced electronic systems with independence.
• Design digital hardware using Intel/ARM processors, DDR memory, FPGAs, MPSoCs, RFSoCs.
• Integrate high-speed interfaces such as DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, and multi-Gigabit Ethernet.
• Collaborate with hardware, FPGA, software, systems, and manufacturing teams.
