Job summary

Cisco is seeking a HW Board and System Design Engineer for Edge and Access routing products in the U.S. You will design hardware boards, lead test programs, and drive qualification toward production.

Responsibilities include system-level design, collaboration with software and test teams, and delivering robust hardware for next-generation routing platforms. Strong Cadence tool experience is expected.

Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE degree required.
• 7+ years of hardware board design experience.
• Experience taking a design from concept to production.
• Experience with x86 and/or ARM processors; DDR4/DDR5, PCIe, SATA, USB; schematic capture tools.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system hardware design.
• Contribute to hardware specification, design, development and test.
• Work under department strategy and direction; coordinate with software, diagnostics, manufacturing, marketing teams.
