We are currently seeking a Senior Hardware Design Engineer for in-house electronic control module (ECU) development. The position is on Lucid’s low-voltage HW development team. This position requires an experienced professional with an extensive background in high reliability electronics designed for high volume production.

Responsibilities:

1. Specify, design and develop automotive electronic hardware for various vehicle functions such as access control, motor drivers, body control, network gateways, low voltage redundant power delivery.
2. Perform PCBA level Functional Safety analysis including DFMEAs, pin FMEAs, HARA, Safety Goals, FMEDA, Functional safety manuals, Fault-tree Analysis, FIT rate calculations to validate and design ASIL rated ECUs.
3. Exhibit a can-do attitude and approach work with vigor and determination.
4. Demonstrate excellence in respective fields and possess the ability to learn quickly and strive for perfection in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

1. Automotive-grade product design experience.
2. System architecture experience and building embedded electronic systems ranging from microcontrollers to high-end processors.
3. Industry experience in automotive electronics development process for mass volume production design, with focus on DFx (test & manufacturing), EMC compliance, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience.
4. A Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering or a related technical field is required.

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
