Nebius is a leading AI cloud infrastructure company headquartered in Amsterdam. We are seeking a Hardware Deployment Engineering Team Lead to manage and grow the Deployment Engineering team across EMEA.

This is a hands-on leadership role blending people management with infrastructure engineering, reporting to the Head of Hardware Delivery and Deployment. Based at our Amsterdam HQ, the role requires travel to data centres across EMEA and will drive planning, hardware validation, troubleshooting,

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers, either as a formal people manager or as a strong technical/team lead with clear ownership for other engineers.
• Ability to plan resources and coordinate engineering work across several projects running in parallel.
• Strong ownership mindset and the ability to operate where procedures are incomplete and problems are not yet well understood.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with project managers, engineering teams, operations and external vendors.
• Willingness to travel across EMEA to data centres.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Deployment Engineering team across EMEA and develop the team, including performance management and hiring support.
• Own deployment planning, milestones, and resource requirements for data centre launches and expansions.
• Drive technical execution: hardware bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and coordination with R&D, DC Operations, vendors, ODMs.
• Improve deployment processes, standards, checklists and documentation to increase quality and scale.
• Ensure handover to steady-state operations and develop automation/tooling to reduce manual work.
