Cisco Silicon One leads the development of next‑generation hardware for high‑throughput networking. You will shape multi‑year hardware architecture and design standards, guiding cross‑functional teams across IC, board design, and systems disciplines to ensure successful product releases.

As a Senior Technical Lead, you will drive technology roadmaps, collaborate with suppliers, and resolve complex architecture and manufacturing issues, while mentoring engineers and influencing executive leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 11+ years of experience, or Master’s with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years.
• Experience in hardware board design and system architecture for high‑performance systems, including PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, SerDes, and advanced thermal/EMI management.
• Hands-on use of Cadence design tools and advanced lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers).
• Experience leading complex, multi-site engineering initiatives and partnering with vendors/CMs to solve high-impact challenges.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term hardware architecture and roadmaps for high‑performance networking systems.
• Lead multi‑disciplinary hardware initiatives from concept to product delivery and customer handover.
• Serve as senior escalation point for architecture, signal integrity, power integrity, reliability, and manufacturing issues.
• Represent hardware engineering in executive reviews, supplier discussions, and external technical engagements.
• Mentor senior engineers and drive architecture reviews and design tradeoffs.
