Roadrunner Venture Studios is seeking a Head of Hardware Engineering for a portfolio company focused on rainfall enhancement technology. You will own system architecture across mechanical, thermal, combustion, and controls, guiding prototypes through production-scale manufacturing.

You will lead a small hardware team, coordinate with external partners, and drive qualification, field readiness, and manufacturing readiness in a startup environment with significant equity.

Qualifikationen

• Own requirements and architecture across mechanical, thermal, combustion, structural, fluid, and controls systems.
• Lead the hardware development from design through prototypes, field-ready hardware and production planning.
• Define verification methods and lead shop tests, field qualification, troubleshooting, and failure reviews.
• Manage external partners, suppliers, and contract manufacturers across the program.
