Job summary

Federal Express Corporation in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced maintenance planner to organize and oversee daily aircraft work scope. You will develop the daily plan, align resources, and work with the LRP team to meet milestones.

The role requires strong planning skills, knowledge of maintenance manuals and FARs, and the ability to coordinate with Aircraft Records to ensure serviceability. This is a full-time, on-site position at the FedEx facility.

Qualifications

Must have experience with maintenance planning and scheduling processes.
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance manuals and FARs (FARS) is required.
A&P license and two years of aircraft mechanic experience or a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline are acceptable qualifications.

Responsibilities

Receives aircraft work scope from LRP team and applies workflow template and builds daily work plan.
Monitors daily work scope progress to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.
Attends/chairs daily production meetings.
Reviews open items to ensure tooling, skills, and parts are available to accomplish the work.
Coordinates with Aircraft Records to ensure aircraft/engines are serviceable and completes daily production planning.
