Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an experienced aircraft mechanic with planning duties to receive work scope from LRP team and build daily work plans, tracking milestones to ensure on-time completion.

The role requires 4+ years in maintenance with knowledge of maintenance manuals and FARs, plus an A&P license or a technical degree. You will coordinate with teams and participate in daily production meetings.

Qualifications

Must have experience in maintenance manuals and FARs.
High school diploma or GED with A&P license or technical degree.
Four years of related airline/repair environment experience optional.

Responsibilities

Receives aircraft work scope from LRP team and applies workflow template and build daily work plan.
Monitors daily work scope progress to ensure milestones are achieved on schedule.
Performs daily audit of closed work items to ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
Attends/chairs daily production meetings.
Reviews open items and EO/EA assignments to ensure tooling, skills, and parts are available.
Monitors and adjusts plans for changes in maintenance schedule to ensure optimal manpower utilization.
Provides the daily production plan and chairs a daily production call upon completion of maintenance, coordinates with Aircraft Records to service aircraft/engines.
