Job summary

The Grey Barn is seeking a Landscape Production & Design Expert to actively design, install and maintain landscapes across our portfolio. This role blends field leadership with customer engagement, requiring you to walk properties, estimate scopes, and guide crews to profitable outcomes.

You will train crews, develop SOPs, and ensure high-quality installations while helping close projects and expand our commercial landscape services.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional landscaping experience.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation.
• Experience leading or training landscaping employees.
• Ability to identify enhancement opportunities and communicate with customers.
• Comfort selling recommended work and closing projects.
• Ability to manage several projects or properties at the same time.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate properties and create practical landscape solutions (renovations, plant design, drainage).
• Design and estimate landscape projects and present recommendations to customers.
• Lead and train crews, develop SOPs, and improve field processes.
• Ensure profitability of sold work and drive project closures.
• Meet with customers, identify enhancement opportunities, and develop scopes of work.
• Help turn property needs into profitable work and explain solutions clearly.
