Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Leadership Professional to join the AI & Operations Engineering team.

This hands-on role blends software engineering, AI, operational intelligence, data analytics and production support, focusing on designing, developing, and supporting AI-powered solutions while leading resolution of complex production issues. You will code, troubleshoot, build integrations and data pipelines, mentor engineers, and drive automation and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of technical experience
• 2+ years experience with Automation and AI technologies
• Experience with AI/ML development and GenAI
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams
• Experience with unit testing and mocking
• MBA or advanced degree and PMP/Six Sigma are preferred
• Demonstrated expertise in ML, GenAI, LLMs, AI agents and workflow automation
• Data pipelines and model evaluation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI, GenAI, analytics, and operational intelligence solutions.
• Perform hands‑on coding, debugging, testing, and deployment across multiple technology stacks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues affecting enterprise applications and platforms.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent corrective actions to improve reliability.
• Build and maintain integrations, APIs, data pipelines, dashboards, and operational tools.
• Collaborate with development, product, reliability, and automation teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Develop operational intelligence capabilities, predictive insights, and decision‑support solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, AI adoption, and engineering best practices.
