Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Nursing or Early Childhood Education required.
• Or Bachelor’s degree in Social or Behavioral Science with 1 year case management experience accepted.
• Two years of professional public or community health experience required.
• Master’s degree in Human Services may substitute for one year of experience.
• Licensed Social Worker or licensed Registered Nurse in Kentucky or compact state required to supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced HANDS program functions, including parent visit assessments for infants and toddlers.
• Provide expert assistance to staff and participate in reports and program planning.
• Interpret and implement policies, procedures and contribute to service improvements.
• Prepare program plans and manuals for distribution to staff and the public to meet compliance.
• Maintain collaborative relationships and represent the department in inter-agency matters.
• May supervise or mentor staff and conduct home visits when needed.
• Adhere to post-employment credential requirements and complete credentialing as needed.
