Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in handbag or accessories product development.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork and multitasking ability.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to interact with others and resolve conflict within various levels of the organization.
• Must be able to perform efficiently in a high pressure, fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day tasks per VP priorities and drive task completion.
• Oversee development timeline with PD teams, Design, Merchandising, Materials and Production.
• Send development packages to overseas partners and sample facilities; ensure accuracy.
• Track material and sample requests; alert management to exceptions.
• Support prototype reviews to meet milestones and maintain margins.
• Maintain Design Cards, Functionality Chart, Development Logs and Matrices.
• Communicate daily with overseas offices.
• Work with PLM systems and tools.
• Build cross-functional relationships to enable collaboration.
• Understand costing implications in the development process.
• Manage development, final and monthly PO costs.
• Review cost sheets and validate components against tools.
• Update costs in internal costing tools and communicate changes.
