Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. seeks a Senior Hand Therapist with a background in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy to join our multispecialty outpatient team. The role supports hand rehabilitation for adults, collaborating with Hand Surgeons and a multidisciplinary team in Boston and Chestnut Hill locations.

Four years of hand therapy experience and a valid MA license are required. Senior OT/PT with Hand Therapist certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current unrestricted Massachusetts license to practice Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
• Certified Hand Therapist preferred.
• Minimum of four years of clinical hand therapy experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' OT/PT needs and develop treatment plans.
• Demonstrate competency in adult outpatient hand therapy.
• Serve as clinical and non-clinical resource to staff.
• Coordinate with health care team for therapy planning and implementation.
• Assist in orientation of new staff and participation in quality initiatives.
• Participate in triaging, referrals, and discharge processes.
• Assist in equipment management and inventory recommendations.
• Attend departmental meetings and contribute to policy development.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
