Job summary

Travelers Insurance seeks a Senior Software Engineer to advance Guidewire BillingCenter capabilities. You will design, configure, and integrate BillingCenter solutions, collaborating with business and technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable outcomes.

You will lead technical efforts, mentor teammates, and contribute to a large modernization program migrating from legacy systems to Guidewire BillingCenter, while embracing Agile and cloud-enabled delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field is a must.
6+ years of software engineering experience.
Deep experience configuring Guidewire BillingCenter and integrations.
Experience with AWS or other cloud providers and DevOps practices.
Experience with Java and/or GOSU for Guidewire development.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced analysis, design and configuration within Guidewire BillingCenter for high visibility initiatives.
Configure, troubleshoot, and support multiple BillingCenter functional areas.
Lead on designing and implementing solutions for moderately complex billing and payments problems.
Serve as Technical Lead on key initiatives, delivering independently and by guiding others.
Participate in large transformation programs migrating from legacy systems to Guidewire BillingCenter.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship on Guidewire BillingCenter and modern engineering practices.
