Job summary

Encode, Inc, a fully owned subsidiary of Lancesoft, seeks a skilled Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer to define system requirements, design GNC subsystems, and guide teams through performance analyses. The role involves developing mathematical tools, validating models, and supporting regulatory coordination with DoD customers.

The candidate will work under minimal direction, participate in trade studies, and contribute to technology roadmaps for electro-optical systems and directed energy

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in modeling & simulation systems engineering.
• Active TS/SCI or SCI eligible clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate systems under various scenarios to optimize mission performance.
• Develop and maintain modeling and simulation tools for performance prediction.
• Document requirements and test results; support certification processes.
• Collaborate with engineers and SMEs to validate models and analyses.
• Produce reports and present findings to stakeholders.
